Review – Preggers Maternity Tights

Hi, the eminence's Vi (pronounced "Vee", like the letter) and my online alias has always been "vietbabe". I get obsessed over various things in life fairly easy, going all out, and wanting the world to skilled in about it. I love to plan events and am an organization freak (the Container Store is my kind of heaven). I'm a bit of an introvert, but I do love meeting new people. I love sharing what I be sure about Vietnamese (Vi3t) culture, memorable moments in my kids' lives, and I'm quite the book pusher. My idea of a perfect day would be a full list of patients at the Peds clinic, some attribute time with my amazing husband and beautiful children, then relaxing with a good book and a glass of Moscato. Everly Elderly Maternity Review and Giveaway

I was sent the Hudson accoutre from Everly Grey to review. I fell in love with it the second I saw this dress. I loved the bright coral color and the flowers all over it! I knew that this would be a piece that I want in my wardrobe. The adorn comes pretty large but has tie so you can fit it to yourself properly. I like that it is big now because that means it will actually fit me come later in my pregnancy.

Eat, Touch, Wear, Love, Link #14

I have been the Leader of afternoon teas this week and have been lucky enough to enjoy two! First was on Monday afternoon as part of the finale of the body image, well being and self esteem work up I’ve been working on since January. The project involved working with two groups of girls from two different schools who had been picked because their teachers felt they needed some support. The project worked with them to have the impression more valued, discuss issues around food and what is healthy, and empower them with knowledge, confidence and an improved sense of well being. It was featured in the local paper and you can see the article here . The finale of the scheme was a big tea party where the girls designed the menu to reflect some of things we had discussed. Here’s the menu they came up with:

Rather different from the usual afternoon tea! It was still indulgent, but included some healthier options. A lot of what we discussed within the work up was about finding a healthy balance and not having ‘good’ or ‘bad’ foods. I particularly loved the smoothies in tea pots for a fun twist!

My second afternoon tea was at Pantry 108 in London, but more on that to come in a time to come post! So yes it has been rather an indulgent week, but I’ve very much enjoyed it. I was in London on Thursday and Friday and obviously I had to make the most of it…

Dress: Primark, tea cup and saucer necklace: betray in Brighton Laines, tan leather belt: Topshop, tights: H&M, lace effect pumps: New Look

For the tea party on Monday I wore a dress from Primark I’d bought in a larger vastness. I added an above the ‘bump’ belt and my tea cup and saucer necklace. When I was in London I did a bit of shopping and finally bought some maternity jeans:

New Look : £27.99

These are reversible (so you can turn them inside out for a darker affect) and are oh so comfortable! I had tried some on in H&M but didn’t find them as comfortable, however I did get a few other things from the regular collection in H&M including pretty colourful scarves, long line vest tops and a kimono splendour jacket / top.

Rice bread wraps, Dr Bronner soap, rice syrup sweetener, mint flavouring, raw crackers, Lucy Bee coconut oil

I didn’t go cerebral in...
